Among my many skills, I am a Journeyman Carpenter.

In addition to architecture, I design and build many unique items.

My hallmarks as a craftsman are radical simplicity, extreme
strength and durability, and very low maintenance.  When I
put it together, it does NOT fall apart in 20 minutes.  I heavily
favor 3/4" exterior plywood and heavy framing lumber, glued 
and screwed with heavy duty deck screws.   I like to build it 
right the first time and then forget about it, except to USE it.

WOODEN TOY BLOCKS
A fabulous "child's" toy that will last for many generations. 
This kind of blocks were one of my favorite toys as a kid.
Some "adults" like them a lot too!  Simplicity rules!

MEDITATION BENCH/STOOLS
Extreme simplicity, durability, portability and comfort make this a superb bench-stool
for sitting anywhere.  Wonderful for meditation, outdoor concerts, picnics, guests, etc. 
Your feet can be in front, on the sides, or tucked underneath you without bearing weight.

Cold feet in winter?  NOT with this chair!  It also ROCKS BACK
to a second position for those who like to tip their chairs back!

DECK AND BENCHES
Beautiful yard enhancement with this deluxe 14' x 20' Port Orford Cedar deck and 8' matching benches.

BODYROLLER A
Flex, stretch, twist . . . front, back, side . . . neck, spine, hips!
This industrial-duty unique-design bodywork-machine helps
you be your own chiropractor.  This is the first one I built.

BODYROLLER B
This second model is slightly shorter with a bit more arch
for more pronounced flexing and stretching.  It was tested
for most of a year in a local health club.

BASIC FRONTIER HOT TUB
Simple, sturdy, economical!  No pumps or filters to fool with!
No electricity required!  Burns propane!  WILL NOT GO COLD
like "normal" hot tubs with the cover off, even in winter.  Heats
rapidly with high intensity burners, then throttles back to simmer
for hours of anytime-anywhere enjoyment.   Mounts in pickup truck
bed for car-pool mobil fun!  Holds 1 or 2 people.  JUST ADD WATER!

INDUSTRIAL DUTY CAMPER SHELL
Your typical $1200 to $1500 deluxe camper shell is made of fiberglass, [or tin on 3/4"x1.5" stapled wood framing], has low-security breakable glass windows, and may very well collapse if you sit on it . . . but it has beautiful paint.  It's ONLY good for keeping rain and wind off your cargo, and looking pretty.  This is my design for high-security, heavy-duty industrial-commercial  use.  The top is a cargo deck which easily carries a ton of plywood laid flat  [more than the truck supension] and you still have room to LOCK your tools up behind narrow unbreakable lexan windows.  A bullet-proof job-site work-horse . . . designed and built by a working carpenter . . . for working carpenters and contractors.  It also functions as a superb two-man mobil scaffold or work-platform.  I've never seen ANY other camper shell even close to this well built.  You could set another TRUCK on top of it and carry it around.  This one was planned work-ugly from the start, but if you used stained-and-varnished marine plywood with stainless hardware, the same design would be even stronger, as well as extraordinarily beautiful, and rival luxury wood craftsman-built boats in looks.
