The thermostatically controlled electric heater has several heat setting for any temperature, and blows warm air right on the coldest area of your body . . . your feet.  The black surface is a non-slip rubber mat.

The lumber is port ordford cedar and yellow pine, stained and varnished.  The heater
plugs into the outlet strip, so you can easily turn it on and off without moving.

It's a yoga chair because you can easily grab it anywhere, with your feet or your hands, for twisting, turning and stretching.  It has three different built in foot-rests, for various seating positions. 

AND IT ROCKS BACK TOO!, for people who like to tip their chairs!  This one has a doubled upper back-support because it pushes me closer to my desk when it's against the file cabinet behind me.  In most situations I would use just one top back support and eliminate the bottom one, for the same effect.   The angled-back support is very comfortable because it allows you to wrap your legs around the outside, without a vertical chair leg digging into yours.  The chair weighs about 35 pounds.  Did I mention that it's EXTREMELY STURDY?
